We Will Know Joy When We See Jesus

Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value from joy you must have somebody to divide it with.
-          Mark Twain, 1835-1910.

   This is one of those magnificent anthem-type songs of which the majestic refrains should, at every conceivable opportunity, allowed to soar unrestrained and supported by the lushest of male and female voices to the loftiest vaults in the naves of the grandest of cathedrals and churches in the world. While it is a magnificent, albeit short, choir piece, it should nevertheless adapt itself to corporate, congregational worship in (for instance) pentecostal and/or charismatic settings with considerable ease; all it will require is a creative and inspired worship-leader with a knack for this genre of song.
   I apologise profusely for not having the name available.  It will be appreciated if readers with more information about this song could alert the blog administrator at (e-mail) pjstassen@gmail.com.

We Will Know Joy When We See Jesus

(Copyright-protected, but composer & copyright-holder yet unknown)

We will know joy, we will know peace
When we hear Him say, “Well done!”
We’ll bow before, the throne of God;
We will know joy when we see Jesus.
We will know that forever sin has been defeated;
We will see the face of Jesus and lay crowns before His feet.
We will live through all the ages, because death will be no more;
For eternity we will be worshipping the Lord.
We will know joy, we will know peace
When we hear Him say, “Well done!”
We’ll bow before, the throne of God;
We will know joy when we see Jesus!
